Very good, but corners can be twisted accidentally, resulting in an unsolvable state
It's superior in many ways to the original, which I also own. It smoother, quieter, the colours are more vivid and it's more pleasant to hold, because of the slightly rounded edges. As with the original, the colours are not stickers, but tiles. It's also very nice that the coloured tiles all have the same perfectly squared aspect: because centres, sides and corners all have slightly different shapes to facilitate the rotations, other cubes reflect these differences in the shape of the colours, which in my opinion is not very pleasant. But this one instead is not affected by that flaw.Because this is a speed-cubing cube, the connection between the pieces is elastic. This means corners can be twisted around, bringing the cube in an unsolvable state, and there is no warning about that anywhere on the package. On a side note, delivery was very slow, several days, and the delivery charges were excessive and clearly more than it actually costs to dispatch the parcel.

Smooth
At risk of sounding like a cube-shaped Gregg Wallace, this is an absolute delight! It's fast, smooth and whisper-quiet.I bought it for my 9-year-old son but I wish I had had one when I was 9; I had a £1 cube from the market which I still have and is so loose you could actually use it as a percussion instrument (for square-dance music, perhaps, ahem). In fact, my old cube is so bad it took a little getting used to a decent one - I kept over-turning it - but now I've got the measure of it and it's a beautiful experience. Maybe you have to have grown up with the cheapo knock-offs to truly appreciate it, though.I can think of nothing bad to say about it - get one now.

Not bad at all, for a Rubik's brand
I know Rubik's brand cubes get a lot of criticism from people that can solve the cube, and for good reason. The Rubik's Puzzles are built with quality materials and look good, but the way they turn and align is embarrassing. This one is different, I understand that Rubik's worked with Gan (well known for world record cubes) to design this cube and it shows. It's easy to do the 4 to 8 move algorithms fluidly, and achieve a solve in under a minute, with a few weeks practice.

larger than most other types
I bought this for my grand daughter as an extra Christmas present. every thing else she received was pushed to the side. We couldnt get her of it until she managed to crack some of the sequences she loves it and she and her friends challenge each other which is good makes them have to think which is a change from computer games etc .A gift well bought

Great cube for the price
Original Rubik’s Cube in a speed version. No more stiffness.Good price, good cube, nice movement action and wonderful to have coloured plastic tile insets rather than cheap tacky colour stickers. The coloured stickers were the only thing I hated about a previous GAN magnetic speed cube I had. Much better with coloured tiles.

Great cube
Bought for my wife, as she is mastering the cube and her old one is rather clunky. She can solve the cube in less than 4 minutes, hopefully with the new cube she can manage sub 2 mins or less! It's very slick, well built and a massive improvement on the original. Recommended.

So much better than the original!
This is a ginormous improvement over the original, ‘normal’ Rubik’s Cube. I own a new original cube and this one. This is so much easier to use. Don’t bother with the normal cube if you want to try to get faster at cubing. I’m sure there are faster cubes out there, but this flows really nicely and it’s the original, much loved brand.

Get a better completion time
Out of all the very expensive adjustable speed cubes available I felt starting with rubiks would be the best move. This is a very good very fast cube well made but feels it could fall apart if you are overly rough. It great for the price
