For those on the fence, rather than on the band wagon, this is for you.First off the product is quite nicely packaged and presented.I use it occasionally for cooking but mostly for my recovery drink post workout.As another reviewer had mentioned it is rather pungent upon first opening and when using in the PWO drink where there are not alot of flavours to distract you (for those wondering; water, dextrose, fruit juice and this product make the drink).The acetone smell/taste is rather worrying but after a few weeks it has mellowed.However the texture is something I cannot really get on with.In food it is less of an issue compared to the drink but even then a surprising proportion is just insoluble.I have tried boiling water and vigorous stirring and it seems to make little difference.So two product specific negatives before we get to my main gripe.I'm sure some reading this/buying this kind of product are concerned about nutritional deficiencies.Even after looking through some legitimate studies and analysis how much tangible benefit this may provide is pretty questionable. Other minerals and electrolytes are better represented elsewhere, even considering relative obscurities like iodine(dulse,cranberries) and chromium(tea, cocoa, apricots) and that's before we get to co-factors or your own vitamin D status affecting absorption.Before you run away and/or get too lost or conflicted, give me one last chance to give you a reasonable bottom line(paragraph):Health wise there may be some added value, certainly not a replacement for a considered varied omnivorous diet heavy on fruit, veg and real grains.I don't think the flavour is much if any different to a decent sea salt, which is considerable cheaper and has some of the same minerals over very simple table salt.If you are still reading this and are curious; I will probably buy some again, but from a different company, just to hedge my bets.

I have used pink Himalayan salt for quite a while, but this is the first time I have ordered from this seller. I am delighted at the quality (and the price) and shall definitely be buying again. It is wonderful for cooking and used on food, far nicer than regular salt, and can be used in the bath and to exfoliate the skin, so for me it is something to always keep on hand.

I have previously used good quality sea salt for my cooking to enhance the taste. This worked ok, but with Himalayan Pink salt takes your food taste to another level of enjoyment and with all the added mineral benefits. I’m very pleased with this product. It comes with a re-sealable stand-up pouch for easy storage and usage. I’m now officially a “Himalayan Pink Salt Convert”.

I've swapped my usual table salt for the Himalayan. I wanted smaller granules for cooking and the texture was what I needed.

This is the second time a bought this Himalayan salt and I am very pleased with the quality of it. I have used it both for bath and for cooking. Is finely milled and has good strength to it. Would definitely buy again
