A four-volume collection of Muppet movies. In 'Muppets from Space' (1999), Gonzo (voice of Dave Goelz) begins to suspect that he comes from another planet, and when he confesses all on Miss Piggy (Frank Oz)'s new talk show, a paranoid government operative decides to find out for sure - by kidnapping Gonzo. This leaves the rest of the muppets with the task of rescuing their furry blue friend. In 'The Muppets Take Manhattan' (1984), the Muppets decide to perform their college show in New York, but it's not as easy as they had hoped. They each have to raise $300 in order to keep a producer interested, and to complicate matters further, Kermit (Jim Henson) keeps developing amnesia. In 'The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland' (1999), Elmo (Kevin Clash) begins his first movie adventure by selfishly refusing to share his beloved blue blanket with Zoe (Fran Brill). This leads to a tug-of-war which sends the blanket flying off to a faraway place. When Elmo gathers up the courage to go and rescue the blanket, he soon finds himself in Grouchland, a place where everybody and everything is moody and selfish. 'Kermit's Swamp Years' (2002) tells the story of Kermit (Steve Whitmire)'s adventures as a young frog. Having spent all their lives in the swamp, Kermit and his friends Goggles (Joey Mazzarino) and Croaker (Bill Barretta) dream of heading out into the big wide world, but never gather enough courage to make it happen. When they finally do head out, chased by a mean old bullfrog called Blotch (John Kennedy), Goggles and Croaker are quickly captured and sold for use in a school. It is now up to Kermit to locate his friends, find out what happens to frogs in schools, and then attempt a daring rescue.
