I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners throughout my entire life, and I have never, and I mean never have ever found shampoo and conditioner that finally stop snapping my hair. Yes, it is a little expensive if you’re poor. But you need to understand that this product stands by what it says. It has three bottles of shampoo and three bottles of conditioner (if you buy the conditioner). I don’t care if it’s $40 I will never go back to bottle shampoo. And I have tried other bar shampoo and conditioner (that said they had they similar ingredients), and nothing will ever compare to this product. I really honestly hope that nobody ever changes the ingredients because you guys are on to something!!and it’s really nice to finally have a product that is natural, healthy, inexpensive in a way, and finally stand up to the big companies that are trying to make you sick or your hair fall out or empty your pockets. I bought the other bars for four months with a different brand and you can honestly tell from where my hair was snapping and where it ends. I was just mortified because my husband said oh maybe it’s something else that’s making your hair snap. I said no I’m telling you it is the shampoo in the conditioner. I’m sorry if this is so long I don’t mean to need rambling on ; but coming from a family that has had long beautiful.. and I could never get mine to grow!!… now it is…

Does wonders for my hair. Lathers well, and as a bar, it doesn't clutter the bathroom with a big bottle. My hair brushes out in half the time it took, now that I am using it regularly, and it's taking longer for split ends to develop.The only complaint is that while the S and the C shapes are cute, it is a weak point for the water to penetrate. The bar eventually breaks into multiple pieces. The conditioner can be slowly melted on low heat back into one bar. I used a tin cupcake mold. Do not try it with the shampoo. It just turns into a crispy mess.

I have long, wavy/tangly hair. I have to use generous amounts of conditioner and detangling products just to comb it out after washing. And always a gob of hair left on my brush afterwards. I washed my hair with this stuff today and then applied the conditioner. And for the first time in my life I could actually run my fingers through my hair in the shower. No tangles! Just silky smooth. Feels so good. And very few hairs in my brush today. My hair feels clean and not weighed down. Very impressed.

I waited until I had a few washes in to make a review, and the results are in: it’s good!I’ve been trying to find a shampoo that meets a few specific requirements, which is easier said than done. One, it must make my coarse and unruly mane of hair less of a hassle to manage. Two, it must not interfere with my ongoing issues of shedding and scalp irritation. Three, I don’t want to contribute more to landfill waste than absolutely necessary. Four, it needs to clean my hair well without relying on harsh chemicals that irritate my scalp.Yes yes, I know, I’m picky and sensitive about my hair products. But these bars meet 3.5 out of 4 of my needs (we’ll get to that half-point). The shampoo and conditioner are both great. The shampoo lathers and cleans like a liquid shampoo, and the conditioner applies easily and leaves my hair silky, stronger, and full of volume. Point one, check. It also doesn’t seem to irritate my scalp or contribute to shedding. Point two, check.The paper packaging is fantastic… though I’m not a fan of the bars themselves being wrapped in plastic sleeves that aren’t recyclable. Modern Mammals manages to use only cardboard packaging, so I don’t see why that’s not possible here. Still, it’s less plastic than a full bottle, so I’ll give it half a check.Fourth and final point; no harsh chemicals. It scored an 86/100 (“Excellent”) on Yuka, so that’s a check!I’ve tried other bar shampoos before, and they either fall apart too quickly or don’t lather or clean well (Modern Mammals, unfortunately, had both of those problems). So far, that’s not the case here. These bars are sturdy and hold up well to thick hair. Plus, they’re budget-friendly compared to liquid shampoo.I just wish they didn’t use plastic in the packaging, but otherwise, great product!

I’ve been using these Kitsch rice protein shampoo and conditioner bars for a year, and let me tell you — my hair has gone from “meh” to “main character energy.” I swear these bars are sprinkled with some kind of magic because not only is my hair softer and shinier, but I’ve also noticed way more growth. I’ve got baby hairs popping up like they’re auditioning for a boy band.They lather like a dream, smell like a spa day, and last forever. Plus, no plastic bottles trying to escape in my shower. I used both products equally. And in less than 2 weeks this is the results of the bars (well under 100 washes, maybe 10 washes at most, I would guess). Unfortunately, the conditioner bar “melted” at a much quicker rate. It could be that the shampoo bar has more of a textured feel that possibly assists in holding the bars shape and keeping it together.But I bought the duo due to my hair thinning. I was otherwise pleased with the smell feel and over all results with both products. I’m hoping that my conditioner bar was “faulty” or maybe sat in a warehouse or the heat somewhere too long, so I did order a new conditioner bar, which I received today. The unfortunate part is, I’m now approx $45 in to see if this works ……
