I bought this to cover my chicken run, and for the most part, it works exactly like I hoped it would. Mine has developed a few rips, which I was a little disappointed in since I've only used it for 1.5 summers. I take it down and replace it with a standard tarp for the winter, and then put it back on for the summer. I've used zip ties to close up the rips, and that seems to work fairly well. I should have gotten a 70% shade instead of 50% for the chickens, but that is no fault of the company.
