I bought it for a Christmas present for 3 girls (9, 6 and 4 years old). They loved it!!!! Their mom said that this present was a hit! Beautiful headbands!!! Highly recommend it!!!

My 7 year old granddaughter really enjoyed making and wearing her own head bands. I found the double sided scoch tape good only for designing the bands it was not at all permanent. I bought fabric glue and did this to all pieces and they all are sturdy and very cute.

Gave as a gift and my niece just loved it. She instantly went to work creating beautiful headband masterpieces.

Thought the headbands would be a little thicker to make them easier to work with

My main qualm when purchasing a kit is that "all the pieces are there". This kit has all the pieces. My kit even had at least one extra large flower.I buy kits when I'm not willing to spend the time going out and finding all the individual parts. I pay a bit extra for the kits because they've done all the leg-work for me. Sometimes that means I didn't have to buy in bulk for items that I don't intend to make a log of use of -- so I don't have to store the bits and pieces.This kit is cute. And it has starter pieces you and your crafters (no matter their age) can either duplicate, get creative and come up with something similar, or make a list for shopping later when more parts are wanted.In the meantime, we have some one-on-one time with our crafter and this is a kit we can use to go (pardon the expression) hog-wild with -- or butterfly wild.As you guide we guide our crafter whatever their age, this has enough pieces to get the creative juices flowing.The only drawback I can see is there is only one set each of cat ears and wings. If we have more than one crafter that's possible to create some arguing over who gets to use 'em. This is a great space (if our crafters are capable) to make cat ears and wings on our own as a lead-in project to the final "building".So yes -- you need all the parts at once and you have 1 to 15 crafters ready to share and create. Good stuff.And there's always the "invitation" to the crafting party (so-to-speak) that includes the wording, "bring some of your own gee-gaws to share with everyone". (You get to explain what a gee-gaw is and expand on the "I can do this, I contributed" self-efficacy of the participating crafters.)I recommend! 5 stars.

This is the first headband making kit that I've seen for young girls --- and it's great!It contains 15 headbands in a good assortment of colors and LOTS of variety of fun decorations - felt flowers, plastic butterflies, poufy fabric flowers, etc.This is for my 6 yo granddaughter. She loves crafting and she already knows the joy of receiving a compliment on a piece of jewelry that she's made and being able to say 'thank you - I made it myself'. Can't wait for her to create her headbands.It also brings back fond memories of when she was a baby and my daughter and I sat around the dining room table and made her the stretchy little headbands that baby girls sometimes wear.This kit comes with double-sided tape to attach the decorations to the headbands and that's great to let young ones DIY totally on their own - but I'm certain I'll provide adult supervision and use a hot glue gun. Just makes everything dry quicker and hold better.Very giftable! Very unique kit!

My daughter loved it but, it needs hot glue for things to actually stay on it.

My daughter loves to make things for her friends and she has loved using this set.
