I'll include some comparisons here.I tried some 'Solingen' ones from Amazon - they were rubbish and I expect were fake - certainly no where near the quality of steel in my other Solingen razors, scissors and nail files.Champneys from Boots were quite sharp, and kept their sharpness for a while. Seki are way sharper and easier to use. The Champney had a lot of give in the handle which meant they didn't always cut cleanly.Tweezerman were good, but lost their edge too quickly. Like the Champney clippers, the handle also had some bounce so the cut wasn't always perfect.Conclusion:The Seki Edge are super sharp, and there is no give in the handle meaning they cut very cleanly. The attention to detail on these clippers is excellent - for example the handle is riveted into the pin meaning they don't fall apart when you squeeze them.The Champney and Tweezerman really feel like better variations on the cheap Christmas cracker clippers, the Seki Edge are very different to that - high quality finish, better blade alignment, different metals used to avoid flex.
