Work When Tested
Device appears to work when tested. In order to sell my house, the absurd nanny city of minneapolis, MN, required this in an unheated, uninsulated attic, with winter temperatures well below freezing five months of the year!Device packaging lists lowest use temperature of 40°F! But this passed minneapolis rules!

Fit perfectly in my RV
Was a perfect replacement for my RV smoke detector. As far as others saying it is not rv rated, I believe this is because of the included battery not being an alkaline. I replaced the battery with a store bought alkaline and should be good to go!

Didn’t work out of box, even tried a new battery. Also one and a half years old from manufacturer date on device. Can’t return it. Rip off
