I was on the fence too
Cut my teeth on swimbait fishing in early 2001 in Southern California. Since then I have fished some of the best baits out there through the Mid-West and Southern states. This maybe a cheap mass produced bait, but it will definitely get bit. With limited bass fisheries of my new home state of Montana, I've still managed to get bit. Given the state record is a little over 8lbs it still brings in decent fish along with a pike occasionally. For the price I would definitely give it a try.

Great slow fishing swim bait.
Works great for fishing very slow to attract less active fish strikes. I dont fish these types of baits fast. Just personal preference.

This bait works
Hands down the best bait I have ever used for lunker river Brownies. This bait regularly produces 20" plus fish. I have managed to get sets on quick retrieves, letting it swim against the current and even dead drifting it downstream. Simply an amazing producer.
