I bought this to protect my forearm while loading lion fish into my container. Just used it for the first time while scuba diving and spearing lion fish out of Destin, FL. I put this on first since my thumb goes thru a hole at the end of the armor. Then on with the protective lion fish gloves and off I went. Didn't get stuck by the lion fish, but was confident I had protection. Got 4, tasted great!!
