Review: Car Roof Mounted - This small 50w panel was just the right size I was looking for. My goal was to make a solar assembly that looked like a sun/moonroof. My car doesn't have one, so I wanted to make practical use for the space where one would be. 34" fits nicely on a 2025 Crosstrek Sport (probably many other cars too) and the 14" coupled with a wind deflector just about makes up the dimensions of a sunroof. When tested outside of being mounted, the panel is just as effective as any, gaining close to max input when angled against the sun. It does lose a bit being flat on the roof, but parked during the morning into early afternoon, it does charge my solar generator along with some USB devices on most days. The solar generator in turn powers my dashcam for parking recording at night. Installation is straightforward, but you will need to provide the mounting materials to your application. It does not have any adhesive on the back or any brackets. It's flexible and durable to conform to the slight curves of the car roof. Connection is strong even through 2 extension cords.

This 50W solar panel is a total game changer for my truck. The installation was incredibly easy, and it mounted to my tonneau cover so seamlessly it looks like a factory option.
