I mounted one of the switches up and did some lab testing with it before trusting it for any real-world application. It handled instance surges up until 12 amps of power, so it is not far off its stated spec. I dinged it one star as I just dont trust something that mounts like it does to be "waterproof". If you are going to be putting this in a wet or marine environment, the surface that you mount this onto better be waterproof itself and I would silicone seal the area around where the breaker mounts, just to ensure no moisture gets past the reset button. The rest of the switch is not waterproof, so make sure you have it protected before trusting this breaker in wet areas. Outside of that, it seems to be made well and did trip at a reasonable level based on its rating.

The media could not be loaded. Great little device. I had bought a new heat press for my wife for Mother’s Day and it kept shutting off. So I did some research and it led to the circuit breaker in the heat press. Come to find out the heat press only had a 10A breaker for a heat press rated to go over 400 degrees. I replaced it with this 30A and it haven’t shut off on my wife since. She’s happy so that means I’m happy.

Installed these into a generator that has a 10 amp fuse.The fuse would blow transporting the generator from site to site.Now all we do is reset the breaker instead of looking for a parts store for a new fuse.
