Bought this for my son,he has an older car with no aux port. We use it with an ipod in the car. Easy to setup & use.

Sound quality is 4/10 function wise is good just not good quality in terms of streaming music, not sure if it’s because of the fm .

Depending on your needs, this could be exactly what you're looking for in terms of a bluetooth plug-in for answering calls in your car. For me, it's a bit hit and miss. The sound is very clear on both ends, which is great. It's easy to connect to my iPhone, and if I plug it in, my phone immediately connects. Here's what I would think about before buying this:1) If you actually listen to the radio in your car, you have to make sure you set the dial on this to a frequency that is nowhere near the stations you listen to. If it's moderately close to the station you want to listen to, it screws up the sound.2) If you want to listen to a CD, or something through your car and not through the Bluetooth on this transmitter and someone calls, you have to turn on the radio and make sure it's tuned to the device before you can answer.3) You can only redial the last number dialed on your phone. If you want to dial someone else, you need to pick up your phone. You can't really use it as a hands-free device in terms of calling out. Receiving a call is as simple as pressing a button (assuming you are connected to the right frequency already).4) Make sure your cigarette lighter has enough space around it for this to fit. Mine fits, but not right side up. Doesn't really matter too much.This thing is really basically built for those users who want to only listen to music on their phones, not for people who actually use other forms on entertainment in their car. And since I'm a radio listener, it's a bit annoying.

Interesting how technology has continued to improve. Got this handy little gadget to use for hands free phone. One issue I have with it is my car charger port is down low, making it hard to press the phone button. Also, it is a little difficult to understand how to make it work. Thank god for teenagers who can program it for me. Overall, it has the potential to be pretty swell once I figure it out.

This is exactly what we needed! Works exactly as described. Bought another for my brother, who drives large trucks for work and he uses it everyday. He can be a big rough on things but it’s held up and he couldn’t be happier.
