## Questions & Answers

**Q: How long does it last?**
A: For me it lasted vividly for about 10 washes then faded to a pale green which will stay in your hair until the end of time.

**Q: will it dye light brown/dark blonde hair?**
A: Nope. I recommend crazy color hair dye for that.

**Q: Are the dyes vegan? I’ve seen they’re not tested on animals but do they contain any animal derivatives?**
A: From Stargazer website:

" Is our Range Vegan friendly?
We have recently (early 2015) had an assessor look at which one of our products we could note as being Vegan. The results showed that due to Lanolin and Beeswax that none of our products are vegan. After this we instructed our manufacturing branch (Star Colour Laboratories), to manufacture our products to be vegan friendly. However this will take a very long time for us to say our products are actually vegan as we sell through the old model."

As far as I can tell from the ingredients list on my bottles, there's no lanolin or beeswax listed, but I'm not personally going to guarantee their vegan. However, they don't test on animals or sell to China, which is a good sign ;)

**Q: Can you use this as a shampoo on already dyed hair to extend the life of the dye?**
A: Stargazer dyes are very conditioning - you would be better to shampoo as normal and then use it as a conditioner - leave for 5-15 minutes.

Bright hair colour! Stays for a while and fades to yellow

I ordered this item thinking it would result in bright orange hair- my hair is pre lightened so I thought the colour would take. The item arrived promptly and was well packed so I did a strand test. The colour came out a very bright reddy -orange, similar to the inside of a blood orange. At first I decided to return the item as the colour doesnt match the discription. The seller was really quick to respond and were happy for me to return the product. In the end I kept the hair dye, it still came out blood orange but after a week of washing it faded near the colour on the box. The colour does fade really quickly as it washed out in every wash but leaves the hair in great condition, I just reccomend always doing a strand test to see how the colour takes on your own hair.
