is actually not the best one for Automata
Peter Linz's book I came to know after ordering this book, is actually not the best one for Automata, regardless of what GeekforGeeks recommends. So, maybe, look for another like Hofman's..About the delivery, it was alright, much ahead of estimated date (which was great), but with no complimentary bookmark (disappointing).

Not just introduction but advanced intermediate level.
This is perfect material if you are looking for introduction to intermediate to advanced theory of computing. I have used 3rd edition of this book before which i really liked. Newer edition gives more coverage to grammars. While Sipser is good, i prefer the hands on approach and logical explanation as well as the exercises at the end of each work section.Recommend if you are looking for a perfect book in this subject area.

A must have book for Theory of Computation and Automata
This book is amazing. Concepts are illustrated in a lucid manner with suitable examples. Large amount of practice problems and keys to some hard problems. Students having a introductory course on"Theory of Computation and Automata" must have this book.
