Kinglemc Crash Bar Engine Guard for Indian Scout(Black-B)

I was really skeptical of buying these at first, because buying crash bars off Amazon seems a little questionable, compared to somewhere that specializes in motorcycle parts at least, but let me tell you that I am so glad I bought these. The week I bought and installed these was the week I needed them. Although I originally wanted them for having somewhere to put my feet on long rides, and the crash bar function was secondary, they came in clutch for me after I spilled my bike coming into a turn when my rear tire lost traction. I tipped the bike, and the crash bars really saved my bike a tremendous amount of damage. The bike must have slide 6-7 feet on these things, but they protected my pegs, wheels, and main chassis. For safety reasons, the bars are "totaled" in my mind after they are so bent out of shape (see picture), but I am buying a second set because of it. Nothing says "reliable," like bars serving their purpose and actually protecting the bike when they matter most. They look great, they were easy to install, and they protected my bike from serious damage in a freak accident. It's hard to give a better review than that.

The quality and coating looks great. Unfortunately the alignment to fit the bottom mount for my 2021 Indian Scout Bobber ABS was more than 1/8 off and I couldn't budge it in.

The construction was solid and looked great. The fitment however, requires a little know how. That's nothing suprising, but due to the heavy gauge of it, can present a problem if you're not used to doing that. Make sure you have a dedicated techy friend with you assessing fitment in case some additional steps are needed. Overall, not bad, will fit with some modifying, and sure is solid, WILL protect the bike.

Bars came quick. Pretty straight forward on install. Went on a 2020 Indian Scout Bobber. Had to drill out 2 holes on both bars to make them fit. Other than that quality of the bars is solid.

It was not easy to install. I lost brake pressure on the bike after installing the right side. Now I have to take my bike to a shop to see what went wrong. Bolts dont line up properly. As stated, foot brake side is more difficult. My bike is a 22 Scout

I liked the look way better for these crash bars than the same old same old rounded bars. It makes the bike look more OG. The are a bit more expensive than most, but the extra price is good for the look. I'm older so if I'm gonna get into an accident I want to try to protect myself as much as possible. I like the higher/wider protection that it provides for a possible accident and overall front protection. Modifications are needed to a Wunderkind radiator grill (the holders) if you need to install any crashbar with the Wunderkind product. If you have the stock radiator grill this is fine. Good luck!

Only gave it one star because I haven't mounted it yet winter is coming. I will mount it in the spring. But looks well built should be a nice asset on my motorcycle good place to put my feet I will update when I get it mounted. Update do not buy this crash bar did not fit the bike had to modify and bend it to make it fit properly not impress at all will stick to my one star.

Poor fit
