ALM Trimmer Spool & LINE WX150

I've had one of these as a replacement before, so was happy to order again. However, after fitting it to the strimmer it was just spitting out the line. I tried re-fitting a number of times and it was doing exactly the same. Eventually I figured out why - the line had been wound on the spool the wrong way round!!! Not only very odd, but possibly dangerous as it got caught around the strimmer base. I've also got through half a spool before resolving.

It works okay at first, but the the wire/cable doesn't seem to last as long as some others, it wares down very quickly even just cutting grass. Can understand if it is hitting a wall or something but it isn't. Seems quite expensive for what it is.

I find these quite expensive normally but this one as a decent price for a straight swap out of an empty cartridge. Would buy again but I do tend to recharge my own more than buy new.

I bought this item alongside the spool covers as my family owns an outdated law mower. The only places I found to replace any parts are in America so I was really glad I found this item. It came just a little later than the spool covers, but like the spool covers, was a really decently made product. It was a fantastic buy for value for money
