Took a while to get used to how much pressure to use, so that color stayed even. Now I love it instead of powder liked I used for years. I bought the Cool Beans shade and it goes well with my brown eyes. Would highly recommend all of the e.l.f. products for older women skin.

I bought this on a Wirecutter, New York Times, recommendation for inexpensive, effective drug store makeup. The color that was recommended is (apparently) the only neutral color option in the line. It's VERY neutral on my light tan skin. But it stays put, is easy to apply, I like it. Can't be beat at $5.

Went on smoothly and stayed, I like how I didn't have to make too many passes to get the deep shade I wanted. Now it did come with those white specks that some other reviews talked about but I just wiped it off with a tissue, and doing so I did break the makeup part but I just stuck it back in the hole and it's working just fine if I end up having to use a brush to apply it that's ok with me, I like this product. There's been no eye irritation and I have not had to reapply it at all.

Goes on well, but the colors (vintage suede & thrift shop) are much lighter than the swatches, they don’t show up well. Trying cool beans next, hoping it’ll give me the look I want.

Like this Elf eyeshadow color and it goes on eyelids very smoothly (some of the other colors of this brand are hard to put on the eyelids). Couldn’t find this darker pink shade at any stores near me, so I ordered 2 of them from Amazon! Very versatile eyeshadow and affordably priced!

I had never used a stick eye shadow before so I was a bit apprehensive on how it would look. I was worried that the texture would age my eyes, however it did the opposite. It goes on smoothly and isn't sticky.

such a pretty color! it dries very fast so you have to be precise when applying. I like using it as eyeliner rather than eyeshadow. I think the packaging could be better it is pretty hard to open so if you’re not careful you can scrape the eyeshadow with the lid

Update.Works well. Stays and definitely does what indicates with no smudge and stays well in the eye crease. The color here looks different than the color I received. This appears yellow looking. Not a light brown color. That could be just me. Still impressed with how well it works. It sets fairly quickly.Giving a 4 because the color looks yellow.
