Suited my need perfectly.
Alexa has found a new home and looks fantastic. It does seem as if the audio is actually a little better as well, but I will be using the audio jack, so this really wasn't a consideration for me. I painted my black as well and no sanding is needed. Price seemed a little inflated, but the quality is good and the final product looks very nice.

Easy to install as long as you have easy access to the back side of the wall
Fits Echo Dot very well, snug but not overly tight.Mine is mounted on a wall that backs up to an unfinished utility room. I could go into the utility room and plug in the power as well as hook up the output to some speakers. Installation was easy for this sort of setup, but I’m not sure how you would power the device elsewhere!

Product is fine, Price is too much
I mean it is what it is, but once I got it I felt like "this is $25?" It's just a regular outlet cover receptacle type thing. It should be like $15 tops. Product is fine, price for it is not. There's more intricate Dot mounts that look sharper and probably cost far more to produce than this and sell for less. I bought another one for $18 and it's a better mount with no visible screws.
