## Description

MESSERSCHMITT BE109E4/7 300061063 Model kits and finished models from Tamiya, the Japanese market leader for model making, have been inspiring model makers worldwide for over 50 years. They have built a good reputation over the years and are rightly advertised with the slogan "The benchmark in model making". TAMIYA has been producing kits of the highest quality and absolute accuracy of fit since 1957, in scales 1:6 to 1:700. Tamiya tools, paints and other accessories are used across brands and are very popular. Tamiya kits can be painted according to your own ideas. Paints, glue and small tools are required for completion. The model has a length of 185 mm. Technical details: 76 components. 1 figure. Warning: not suitable for children under the age of 14

Review: Magnificent Me 109! - Another Tamiya triumph, the plastic parts were clean and detailed for the scale of the aircraft. Only bare minimum tidying up to do, and a sharp craft knife blade run over any mould seams soon dealt with them. The parts are thankfully not attached with large attachment points to the sprue so are quite easy for removing to avoid damaging the plastic. No fit or join issues with this one and the end result, after some airbrushing, camoflauge application and the decals applied, turns it into a very nice looking WW2 fighter aircraft. Hopefully the photos will do it some justice.
Review: Great set sadly one piece missing, great detailed - Loving this set so far, once piece was missing that wasn’t even moulded onto the sprue hopefully can get around it. Tamiya is great for detailing

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this come with paint and glue? Thanks**
A: Nope, just the plastic parts I'm afraid. Glue and paint have to be purchased seperately.

**Q: has this model got decals for the battle of Britain version**
A: Yes it does. 1 of the options is (Helmut Wick) | World War 2|Battle of Britain - Beaumont-le-Roger

**Q: The instructions shown here list over 25 paints are required. Is this correct please?**
A: 25 colours are provided for all painting versions,
as on Tamiya website https://www.tamiya.com/english/products/61063bf109e_4_7/index.htm
to have proper painting of specific version 13th colours is needed.
If proper colours are not necessary for you, probably 5 main colours will be fine.

Loving this set so far, once piece was missing that wasn’t even moulded onto the sprue hopefully can get around it. Tamiya is great for detailing

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First class
*by J***N on 14 February 2025*

The first one I've built and though it's a bit rough next to some I've seen in the reviews I'm chuffed to bits with how its turned out. I've since got half way though Italieri and Aifix models and the quality was so poor compared to Tamiya that I've binned them.
