TimexFairfield Chronograph Black Dial Watch TW2R26800

I needed a durable but inexpensive watch for work, and I love chronographs. The blacked out aesthetic is well-designed, the lume on the Indiglo is bright, and setting the watch is engineered in an innovative way. It's very light on the wrist, too. The chronograph second hand was one second ahead, and I was able to calibrate it by pulling the crown out to the second position and clicking the top pusher until it reached the 60-second mark. At 41mm diameter, it's perfect for my 6.5-inch wrist; not too big, but big enough. The band is quality leather, and the racing-inspired look is interesting but understated. The easy-release pins are also convenient. My one minor contention is that the buckle is plastic, but that can be switched out, should one be so inclined. In a morass of overpriced, low to mid-quality fashion watches out there, Timex is outdoing the competition with their new models.

I placed an order and received the wrong Watch. After reaching out, the customer service was absolutely horrible. It was obvious they were purposefully giving me the run around just to avoid the exchange. The headache was not worth such a cheap product and horrible experience… No longer a Timex customer

Very nice watch at a decent price

My most recent acquisition to the Timex Herd is this beautiful Bauhaus design Chronograph.I was familiar with the finish of the Fairfield line which I would compare this line very close in craftsmanship and finish to the Waterbury and Intelligent Quartz lines.The number one reason I got this watch was the price point and the gorgeous looks of this Chronograph which has a racing inspired look with the OEM leather band. The 10 o’clock eye measures minutes (up to 30); the 2 o’clock eye measure 1/20s of a second and the 6 o’clock measures seconds (sub seconds) The chronograph will run past the 30 minutes which is a feature (or lack thereof) that I like; since it allows you to time an hour as long as you don’t forget to stop the chronometer as it will just keep running. .. up to 4 hours I am told.The watch high point is the Indiglo during dark lighting conditions. I find it much easier to read the time at night than during the day. The dial has such a good contrast that it just draws you in. The leather band is quite good for a Timex; the finish and feel of it are excellent and very comfortable. The silver stripe in the middle gives it a racing inspired look. Feature fond to find is quick release pins.The minimalistic Bauhaus design of the dial is gorgeous with the only minor flaw that it is extremely hard to read even during full daylight conditions. I need to angle to watch so that the light reflects off the markers and hands to read the time. I would of prefer a matte finish instead of a shiny/glossy one for the dog bowl case; but at the price I got this just discontinued piece from Timex can’t argue anything against it. The new version of the Fairfield Chronograph features Indiglo Supernova.The watch is so silent that you can only hear it ticking by placing the case next to your ear, but only inches away and I cannot hear the ticking anymore. I am very pleasantly surprised that when running the chrono, the hand hits the markers REALLY good and almost perfect all around the dial; something that I have not seen on a Timex before; the 3 hander Fairfield is actually banned from the bedroom or has to be inside a watch box because of the loud ticking.In summary: if you ever had issues seeing the time with negative displays or are looking for the traditional easy to read feature that most Timex has; this one may not be for you as it is very hard to read the time quickly. Indiglo contrast in dark conditions is excellent though.

Lo compre en 1300 por lo cual se me hizo una super promoción, creo que no vale los tres mil que suelen poner, pero es un reloj muy elegante y de buena construcción.
