Tobacco Smoke Check - Indoor Air Quality by Home Air Check

I performed the test for 2.5 hours per instructions, in a small bedroom filled with cigarette smoke. The test results returned said 'no cigarette smoke detected', I called the lab and the person I spoke to said the pump was functioning properly and maybe I should think about checking the inner walls. This lab and equipment are questionable, to say the least. I do not recommend this product or Lab.

We are incredibly dissatisfied with this report, which we have found to be inadequate and uninformative, particularly given how expensive the tests are:No exact mention of the level of different smoke indicators, just detected/notA rolled up summary of level of smoke with no explanation for how that metric is calculatedNo indication of level of risk associated with levels of smoke

I performed the tobacco test in a smoky room (while people were smoking). Sent it in and the report said 'nothing detected.' I called the company and they said the equipment was working fine so they had fulfilled their duty. I had done a test with them for VOCs and mold before so I know how to work the equipment, but now I am super suspect at the results that test gave me. I don't trust it.
