Lifreproof 77-53719 Nuud Case for Apple iPad Pro 9.7 - Black

Having bought one about a year ago for a smaller iPad when I bought a larger one I naturally bought the same case. It seemed a very strong unit that would protect my iPad and apparently under water as well. This water proof claim is of little interest to me so have never tried it and have need to I would not use it near any water. So then this new larger case seems exactly like the old one in that it fits very well though again I have no idea if it it was water proof, it certainly isn't now. I duly fitted my new and larger iPad and all seemed well but a few moments later my wife tried to take a photo only to find the lens aperture partly blocked the iPad lens. I had ordered the unit the day before and paid extra so she had it for the weekend as she was using the iPad and I didn't want her to damage it. This meant I had no choice but to keep it and 'adjust' the case so there was no camera problem. Why is this unit made so badly when it seems to be extremely well made? I certainly cant recommend this case and will look around so next time I don't make the same mistake.

Lifepeoof , latest versions not as good as they used to be.. Two cases failed waterproof tests , the original and its replacement , which I kept as I needed some protection for my I pad on a. Sailing holliday, however I don't trust the waterproofing so keep my I pad in its waterproof case well away from water .A few months on since purchasing , the case protects my I pad against falls, however the dust gets in and a frequently have to open the case to clean dusty o rings . Also the new push in design for the headphones cover is much less robust than the screw in version on previous cases . In the leek test, water seeped in through the headphone cover, and through the clip covering the charge port, and also seeped in through the sides of the screeen ... a once excellent product made ineffective by changes to the original design ... has the original company been bought out by otterbox?

rubber bits fell off

Fantastic iPad case. We have two small children in the house so iPads need reliable protection. With these cases we don't need to worry about spills, splashes or being dropped on the floor (although we've not tested them with any hard falls!).Because you still use the actual screen you get a perfect user experience, previous cases I've had have meant a compromise on the screen sensitivity.iPad Pro case also means the mic still works perfectly, - with an earlier version for an iPad 2 the mic sensitivity is affected but with this one there are no problems.

I've used Lifeproof cases for some time (iPhone, iPad Mini) & up until now have had nothing but praise for them. This one however is a total let-down.As other reviewers have mentioned after less than a year the rubber began to come away from the plastic. I returned one unit to Amazon because of this and they sent me a replacement but here I am, about a year later, playing whack-a-mole trying to keep the rubber stuck down. No sooner do I glue one piece down than another comes unstuck.A premium price but sadly not a premium product. To be avoided.

Disappointed. After having bought a fre case for an iPad mini a few years ago and being blown away, I decided these were the only cases to buy for the iPad. The camera is obscured and in order for it to fit the camera hole the iPad won’t fit in the case. Extremely disappointed. Doesn’t have the same build quality as the fre either

spent the top price to buy this high end product, but after one year , the rubber around the case came off. Difficult to find correct glue/adhesive to bond it.The manufacture provide 2 year warranty, but their website forcing the customer return it to Amazon, in Amazon, there is no where to return/repair it. As it is over 1 year.Think carefully when you spent this amount to buy this over priced case when you might have the same situation like me !If i know the quality is like this, i would buy a cheaper one !

I would have preferred a Fré case but unfortunately only the Nuud is available for the iPad Pro, nevertheless it works very well indeed.Update: have gone through two of these so far and both had the same problem: rubber coming off the sides of the case. Quality has definitely gone downhill
