WATER-RESISTANT GREYHOUND/LURCHER RAIN COAT. A red hi-tech microfiber water-resistant fabric makes up the outer shell which is lined with a thick, warm cream-coloured Sherpa acrylic fur lining. Being microfiber as opposed to most cheap greyhound coats, this coat has anti-rustle properties and a super luxurious feel. The coat is made in two halves which allows for contouring to accurately fit the curved shape of a greyhound's back. Fasten round the waist with a clip release buckle. Brilliant coat for large lurcher
Excellent coat, fits perfectly. Another one I bought on here pops open whenever my dog runs making is useless. The clips at the front and waist are ideal for putting on and taking off easily and he can't take it off himself which is a bonus. Thinking of buying a second one to change with. Ordered 28-30" version which fits my 28kg lurcher perfectly. He's a very happy, cosy, Dobby dog - thank you

Best doggie coat.
I rescued a lurcher recently and had to kit out my pooch with a coat. Cleo is very active and found the clips secure, they don't open when she runs, it's warm and good quality. So good that when we rescued another lurcher we got the same coat. Only downside was the wait for the coats to come back in stock but both arrived very quickly once ordered. Thank you

Watch the sizing!!
The actual coat in itself is very good. The problem is that the sizing guide is incorrect as "Long Dogs" such as Greyhounds and Whippets are sized from the base of the tail to the neck. Consequently when it arrived, the coat was way too big as the sizing guide seems not to resemble anything like it should be. I wrote to the distributor and did not even get a reply, thus I have to drop the rating.

Good coat
It is waterproof and a good size for my lurcher. Unfortunately Billy (my lurcher) got himself caught on a door in the kitchen and has ripped the front fastening so now the coat is tied up with string! I'm going to have to get the sewing machine out.

It's nice and warm though
My dog measured 26" so I bought the small but he has quite a broad chest which meant the front strap was too tight .This caused the coat to ride forward when he walked.I taped a piece of leather to the front strap to extend it and that seems to of done the job. I should of gone for the medium.It's nice and warm though, and well made.

Highly recommend
I was going to return this as it was too big for my puppy.... not now - he has grown! My lurcher looks like Santa in this coat. The clip system, makes it easy to put on and it seems really warm. Lovely product.

Well made...good value......
I originally purchased the wrong size of coat for my 'small' whippet cross. Proprietor was extremely helpful...and a new coat was sorted out. It fits a treat and is well made and durable...keeps the wet out too! if you have any confusion about sizing, contact the maker... would buy again. Please make them in a different colour! I'd buy again.....:)

Good product.
So sadly, apart from trying on this lovely coat on beautiful Mac, a greyhound salukji lurcher, and it fitted and looked lovely, he didn't have a chance to wear it as we lost him a week ago at aged nearly 14 years, due to paralysis of his hind legs. I will keep it and hopefully in the future will own a lurcher as handsome and wonderful him, and he will be able to wear it. Thankyou.
