I thought putting a full sized head and food board on a queen sized bed frame would be easy. This is a good quality adapter bracket, but while the openings for the headboard lined up with the openings on the bed frame, the openings on the plates were not sized properly with openings on the matching foot board (I had bought two sets of adapter plates). We explored many other options, but finally solved the problem by drilling new holes in the metal foot board. I don't believe the specs given mentioned that the vertical openings can take bolts 4" apart, but the horizontal openings can hold bolts 3" apart. It would be wise for a potential buyer to first measure the distance between the bolts of both the bed frame and the head or foot board. And don't make my mistake of assuming the measurements are the same, even if the head and foot boards match!. The adapter plates and the included hardware are all nice quality.

They worked to keep us from buying new rails/frame to fit on a weird sized headboard. We only needed one ... seems a shame because I have no use for the 2nd one. But for the price, it worked and I'm happy. It beat having to spend $150+ on a new frame. Happy customer.

This wasn't even close to matching the holes in our queen headboard legs. We spent about an hour drilling holes through the headboard (through four inches of solid wood each leg). After that, these worked great.

I loved that the bed rail hooks cut my time in half in regards to attaching my headboard to my bed frame. It is totally universal and applicable for all beds.

Worked like a charm! The brackets worked to make a queen size metal spindle headboard fit a full size bed frame. FYI...you are provided long screws to accommodate larger posts on a headboards.
