Available in new mint condition with same-day dispatch and hassle-free returns, this book is a must-have for cultural history enthusiasts and anyone craving an authentic trip down memory lane. ## Description I looked around and people's faces were distorted...lights were flashing everywhere...the screen at the end of the room had three or four different films on it at once, and the strobe light was flashing faster than it had been...the band was playing but I couldn't hear the music...people were dancing...someone came up to me and I shut my eyes and with a machine he projected images on the back of my eye-lids...I sought out a person I trusted and he laughed and told me that the Kool-Aid had been spiked and that I was beginning my first LSD experience... Review: The story of Ken Keasey and the Merry Pranksters... - Probably one of the best books I have ever read. Review: A most enjoyable ride - An incredible insight into a pivotal time. Wolfe draws upon the experiences of many Merry Pranksters to give a range of personal perspectives, capturing the frenetic vibe of the developing psychedelic movement with a unique writing style. For some, this style may prove difficult to penetrate, while others will find it absorbing. (You're either on the bus or off the bus!) Personally, it carried me along with the flow on a most enjoyable ride... ## Features - New - Mint Condition - Dispatch same day for order received before 12 noon - Guaranteed packaging - No quibbles returns ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | Best Sellers Rank | 57,185 in Books ( See Top 100 in Books ) 108 in Cultural History Biographies 181 in Anthropology & Sociology Biographies 295 in Community & Culture Biographies | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 2,801 Reviews | ## Images ![The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/919AfHBrpgL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Media Language, Media Format** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The story of Ken Keasey and the Merry Pranksters... *by .***. on 20 January 2026* Probably one of the best books I have ever read. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A most enjoyable ride *by M***M on 20 January 2015* An incredible insight into a pivotal time.
