Soap Making Recipes Paperback – September 25, 2013

The information is pretty basic but I do like that the author includes some basic cold process recipes. I would have like to see more about lye and about trace.

I received this book way before the estimated arrival (it arrived only 2 days after I ordered it!). I only glanced through it. It's only 36 pages long, however, there are a couple recipes in here for beginners (like myself). Not as much information as I would like, but the author does have more books and there are several books out there for beginners to use. Thanks for the speedy delivery!

I am currently trying to read this book and I can’t get through one page without laughing! It is horribly written and makes almost no sense. I think I’ve read the word “process” about a thousand times. The author should maybe invest in a thesaurus and a writing class.

After reading a preview of this book, an excerpt of six pages, I seriously wondered if this was written by a child, or a non-native English speaker; it is so poorly written as to be incomprehensible.It honestly reads like an 8 year old child's treatise on soap making.

The absolute WORST book on soapmaking I have EVER read. I would have given it zero stars but that wasn't an option. The entire book is only a few pages (maybe a five minute read) and is all over the place. The author states this book is for beginners, but that couldn't be further from the truth. There are basically no instructions, no explanations, and there are NO pictures except for the cover. Please, please, please save your money and invest it on a soapmaking book that will actually explain the various methods of soapmaking, the supplies/utensils needed, and descriptions of products mentioned.
