Worcester Greenstar 24I 28I Junior & 25SI 30SI Charging Link Filling Loop Key 87161045910 by Bosch

I purchased this boiler loop refill key as original was no longer available on line as boiler was 11 years old and installed by British Gas the boiler is a Worcester Bosch but fitted with British Gas logo model number above entered in title , the key that I purchased from Amazon fits perfectly and refills boiler with no issues. The old key broke as it had become very brittle probably with it being say it housing underneath boiler, no issues now that I have received new key.

Great product that was better than the original key that came with the boiler, as the original key was very tight and over time became very brittle and broke. The key came in a couple of days and fits so much better. Always been a sceptic when they say original parts but I would say they work better. Great service and speedy delivery. This was a replacement key at a great price.

Great, the panic is over. I thought I'd get a genuine Bosch spare as opposed to a cheaper copy which might possibly be a poorer fit and of an inferior quality. I know that it makes little sense but this replacement key is less difficult to insert and remove than the one I'd lost, which came with the Worcester Greenstar when it was installed. I always had to use a bit of brute strength to get that old one in and out, even with a drop of washing up liquid on the rubber rings for lubrication. So, in a way, I'm now glad that the old key was lost as the replacement is easier to fit and use which, I'm sure, these things were designed to be all along. Could it be that the key I got with the installation was not a genuine Bosch product ?Eamonn

Shipped very quickly only required because the bolt had been done up by the service engineer who used a metal key very tightly meaning theo when we used the plati one provided by er ester Bosch with the boiler, it snapped due to the force it had been done up in the first place this nit arrived and matched exactly the broken unit it used gently this time did the job and he problem Was solved

Fits perfectly and more sturdy than the original key, would definitely recommend

this charging key 87161045910 worked well with my Worcester Greenstar 28I Junior.Just make sure you follow the instructions in the Boiler manual and use a torch to see the lock/ unlock markings, make sure the charging key is pushed home and seated before unlocking and opening the filler screw.order placed 11 Feb 21, despatched 11 Feb 21, received 13 Feb 21 2nd class post

Everything is fine about the item but I had to call someone to go out and get me one from the shops when it did not arrive on time.

I had to buy a replacement key for the British Gas combi when I snapped the key trying to increase the pressure. I came across this version which had all the same numbers and I have to state it works perfectly. It was mentioned by another buyer, that it is easier to use than the original and I have to agree. It was like I had greased it before using.Very glad I purchased.
