Buy Glow in Dark Professional Luminescent Duck Tape for Theater Stage, Steps, Stairs | 40 feet Roll | 12 Hour High Performance Green Glow | Waterproof, Adhesive, Removable Tape Stickers: Safety Warning Tapes - desertcart.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Glowing Results - This tape is great for different kinds of uses. This tape has a good amount of length to it so that you'll have plenty for most projects, and it has a good width. It is very adhesive, so you shouldn't have a problem sticking it onto objects and surfaces. This tape does indeed glow in the dark, and with most other glow in the dark items, it glows more the longer it is exposed to light. You can size the tape however you need, as you must cut it yourself. It would be nice if the box had come with a straight edge that was made for cutting the tape, but I fold the tape where I want to cut and haven't had any problems with getting a straight line. Overall, this glow in the dark tape is great. It is of a good amount, works well, and has no problem sticking to most surfaces. I recommend this tape to anybody needing a touch of nighttime glow to a project. Review: Working great for my purpose - This tape is working perfectly for the purpose I purchased for. I put it on the edges of my deck's stair steps. At night, the steps were nearly impossible to see and so quite hazardous. I wanted enough glow so a person could see the edge of each step without a problem. My deck stairs are made out a wood/plastic composite material and I was not sure how well the tape would stick. In fact, when I applied the tape, it didn't look like it was going to adhere for long and I had serious doubts about it lasting. However, the tape as been in place for over three months now and it looks as good as the day I put it on. It has withstood chilly temperatures (40s) lots of rain and triple digit heat. Where I live, temperatures rarely drop below freezing, so I don't know how it would hold up snow climates. Also, I should point out that my steps receive only light traffic, so I can't attest to how it would perform under heavy use conditions. Nevertheless, for the use I've put it to, it is performing wonderfully. I have not stayed up all night to see if it glows until the sun comes up, but I have checked as late as 2am and it was still glowing sufficiently to do the job. Also, I tested how well it comes off. When I picked at the end of a piece of the tape and lifted it, it came up very easily and left no noticeable residue.

Find Things in Darkness
Back in 2020, I bought various glow products for trial in marking flashlights and other items I might want to find in darkness. This SAY HO UM Glow Tape (GITD Tape) has provided the best performance of the products I've tried. While it can't glow brightly for long, it does glow faintly all night long after charging only from ordinary room lighting. With dark-adapted vision, I can easily detect it if I am otherwise deprived of light. Flashlight? Found! The tape has remained reliably in place with gentle handling after installation on any precleaned, hard surface. I've used it around cylinders as small as 1/2" diameter with continued reliable adhesion. I haven't tested it for rough conditions, though it has met with occasional light rain without any trouble. For fun (that "bright, pretty" glow), expose it to blue sky or direct sunlight for some seconds and then take it to darker spot.

Really useful
I put it near all of my light switches to see them in the dark. Great for getting around at night. Needs only a minimal amount of light to get it to work for an extended period of time.

Great Buy! There are a few types of this ...
Great Buy! There are a few types of this kind that promise a 12-hour glow, but do they deliver? Not really. Well, this one is different. The tape feels thicker right away when you unroll it. The description said it's because the tape contains more photoluminescent elements that give out the glow. So I decided to test it out. I left the tape under the sun for 30 minutes as required, then moved it to my dark pantry and returned once in a while to check on the glow. To my surprise, although the glow fades away gradually, as it's supposed to, it was still visible at the end of the day. No doubt, it will be sufficient to last me through the whole night. This is really the best quality glow tape I've tried! Last thing, you can put it on everything, trust me.

First time I have had tape that ACTUALLY glowed.
I bought this for our theater to use on stage and was very nervous about it going in. The glow tape that we have gotten in the past was subpar, to say the least. I went to mark the stairs on the set and they began testing the lights. in a blackout, the tape glowed brightly. I was very impressed with the quality. It does stick like crazy so be aware that it may pull up some paint, this is solved by warming the tape before removal with a wet cloth, warm air, or a warming light.

I'm absolutely in love with this purchase
I'm absolutely in love with this purchase! It's a MUST BUY purchase! Works exactly as described! Just make sure to read the instructions properly - the most important part is to charge the tape SIGNIFICANTLY in order to achieve the best results. Since the UV rays are the ones that activate the glow, it makes sense that the sun has the shortest charge time (minimum 30min) and light bulbs the longest charge time (at least 90min). Be patient enough to charge sufficiently - that's the key! I'd say leave it even for a little bit longer just to be on the safe side. Also, mind where you stick the tape - if you use where the light is poor, it won't charge and won't work as perfectly. But if you do as described, you will fall in love with this purchase and its amazing quality! I will definitely buy it again!
