I've used this a few times already to make the holes for shower controls in ceramic tiles with excellent results. Great value for the money.

We installed an under-the-sink water filter and had to install a faucet on the countertop for that water. I was told to expect it to take 20 to 40 minutes to drill the hole through the 3/4" thick quartz countertop. This bit did the work in just 2 minutes. Excellent.(p.s., to drill the hole cleanly and accurately, I first drilled a 1/2" hole in scrap plywood, then secured the plywood to the countertop using double-sided tape ( on Amazon: XFasten Double Sided Woodworking Tape, 1-Inch). I then set the diamond bit in the plywood hole and drilled into the quartz. This set up worked very well.)

Bought this to cut holes through tile and decking for a 4 hole faucet set.Great price and good enough to get the job done. Pretty much used up by the last cut.Smooth cut through porcelain tile with no chipping. Underlying support material was probably the cause of early failure.

The pilot drill doesn’t slide and scratch the tile. It stays right on point. I used the same bit to drill both the air gap hole and the garbage disposal button on the granite countertop behind the sink. It took about 15 mins for both. Great product!

Worked very well and made quick work boring thru porcelain tile for a shower arm.

I only needed to make 2 cuts thru thick (1 1/2") stucco. Cut thru it like butter. Still looks like new. Stucco is a relatively soft masonry so I have no idea how it would do with tile but for my use the cost/benefit was great.

Product got through 1+" of stucco great. I needed to go deeper but the shank does not accept any standard (US or metric) socket to be able to use an extension so dinging 2 stars for that. Tool is flat so won't spin in drill. Also gummed up on some vinyl I hit, cleaned up okay with some effort. Works great on stucco, not so great on wood - no extension possible - can't go deeper than your drill/tool allows.

Does an amazing job and 1/3 of the price from Home depot. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to cut my tile for the shower faucet. Worked perfectly and didn’t take long to cut through the tile.

This diamond hole cutter arrived on time and well packed. There was no issue with delivery. The hole cutter was exactly what I needed however, since it didn’t fit my drill I had to return it:( I would definitely recommend this tool just check that it fits your drill.
