I wanted some stakes to secure a sunshade cover over my greenhouse and chose these because I've tried others which just pulled straight back out of the ground. These are exactly as I had hoped for, incredibly strong, extra large and pretty much unbendable. They have ridges which stop them sliding back up, and once they are inserted, they are definitely staying put. The pointed tip helps to precisely drive them into position. If you're looking for seriously heavy duty stakes, you won't go far wrong with these. For me, they are perfect for the job. Just what I needed.

Unless i'm missing something in the way rebar is measured, i got these to be closer to 8.5mm than the 10mm listed in the description. That was with taking a measurements from the rib of the stakes too!Aside from the width, these are well made, very sharp and exactly 400mm long.I've pounded a few in with a mallet so far and they sank in really well. These are far more elegant than my previous rebar plus a brick solution.Aside from the sizing difference, really good stakes.

Had little to no ground anchoring. Albeit they are sturdy. I would expect them to perform in certain ground conditions, but in general soil they are not effective at holding down anything of substance

although not able to use yet they look like they can hold my greenhouse down.
