Never works mitebthan, a week, sad 😔 too , nice idea

I like the way my new Note 8 fits it. It is adding to the weight of course but it feels good in my hands, and facilitates better grip.Charged fully and kept with the phone but switched off. After the Note 8 battery was depleted down to 5% (it took a full 24 hour with intense use), I turned the battery on. It charged the phone in a matter of 45 min to an hour and the color on the switch changed to red, meaning remaining somewhere between 1 to 25%. I'll be waiting for the phone to deplete and charge again to see what level the charge can reach, then I'll revert with more details. I'll be happy if the phone and the battery give me an autonomy of say, a weekend without recharge. Reverting8/3/18 So again, the Note 8 battery was down to 5%, turned the battery case on (red), it was charging the phone to 14% and died.It is not bad, but it is less than the advertised 30% (out of total 130%). But still Ok. I haven't decided yet, if I'll keep the battery case charged and hosting the Note 8, or just have it charged and stand by in my laptop bag. Now I know that I can expect at least 24 hours from the Note 8 battery and another 24-25 hours from the battery case.

D.O.A. Never worked. I did an initial charge all night. When the phone got to about 80% I tried to turn on the case aaaaand nothing. I played with it and could get it to come on a few times but would shut off before it could charge even 1%. I'm sure it's probably a QC issue in manufacturing, but I would not risk the time spent figuring out if this is a good one or not. I sadly had to return this case. Too bad, I really had high hopes for it. No bueno!
