Does not work with all the listed protocols!!!
The page says that it supports SAE J1850 PWM (and 8 other protocols) for OBD II. My car uses J1850 PWM as it is a 2004 Ford Focus petrol. But it won't connect to the ECU, My old device did so and so does the local garage's one!! The phone app I use (Torque Pro) connects to the bluetooth fine - oh an yes I did switch the ignition to "on". It does work with our 2015 Dacia Sandero 1.2 petrol - and correctly identifies there are no faults stored, it also works with the features of Torque Pro to provide real time info on temp, O2 sensors, in fact everything available real-time from the Sandero - this is on ISO 15765-4 (CAN 11/500) - so if your car uses that should work OK unless faulty! so given that 2* might seem harsh, but I wanted it for the ford which it said it could do.........but doesn't
