ST0555B Ladder Bracket (pair)

Q: Does this come with mounting screws/bolts and if not, could you recommend me some please?

I drilled holes in the wall (brick in my case) suitable size to take Rawlplug bolts that you push into the hole; put the bracket on and tighten the nit. The bolt expands to fill the hole and you can tighten up. The bracket is excellent and I have 3 ladders in the two bracket with two very good locks. Easy for me to access compared with stored in a garage before on the floor.

Q: Has anyone used these brackets to secure a double ladder vertically on an outside wall? If so what's the best way to fit them?

Q: Would these brackets hold a triple ladder

Just rechecked bracket size and because they are fixing holes on 3 sides, you could fix it with the widest side internal bracket size of 235mm and it should take a triple ladder.

Q: What diameter are the holes for the padlocks?

To be entirely honest with you. I can not remember the exact diameter, ( I would say that it is roughly about 6 mm) through I found that I had to modify them, in terms of drilling out the holes in order to slightly increase their size, as I am using a pair of heavy duty Security Padlocks on them. The backs themselves are an excellent make, entirely worth spending the money on. I have two step ladders securely mounted on the wall in the back garden. It makes a pleasant change to be able to find a product that is entirely fit for the purpose that it has been manufactured for. I would recommend this product for the secure storage of ladders and other D.I.Y and Building equipment that needs to be kept chained up and padlocked
