VEVOR Power Benchtop Planer Three-Blade Two Speed 13" Thickness Planer

My first planer, first experience with a planer. Very well packaged. Right out of the box: I set this machine on a countertop and everything seemed great. I ran several pieces of red oak through it. Not a problem. These boards were given to me and we're rough on all sides. With this 3-blade/ 2-speed planer, set on low speed, I cleaned them up to s4s with no problems. This planer has opened now avenues to my woodworking journey. I appreciate the tool storage built into in the cabinet. The height adjustment is great. Note: if you're going to plane a tall board then a not -so-tall board... bring a sandwich because it takes a lot of cranking to move the planer-head from one extreme to the other. This is another tool I've purchased from Vevor that I am proud to own.

The 13”Vevor surface planer purchased thru Amazon is a fine tool for the price. It arrived a day early and in good condition. Virtually nothing to assemble and only a couple minor adjustments. The only complaint l have is that the factory installed cutting knives had no edge and couldn’t plane any type of wood. I had ordered a second set of knives so was able to install them and make the planer usable and have been using it since. It is a very good planer and planes extremely accurately, no adjustments ar all. I am very pleased at the overall unit. I am very disappointed that a quality tool would come with bad knives Installed at the factory. Any cutting tool is only as good as the blades or knives All in all ,I am very satisfied with the tool.

I love it! It's very high quality and works perfectly. I have been planing smal pecan logs down into project wood which is a very hard wood. Good lumber is hours from where I live so I'm using firewood and planing it into usable slabs. I think I'll be using this planer for years.

I never post reviews but this product is so bad that I just had to warn others. From the very beginning of usage the blades were dull and did not work properly. Because of that the wood planks didn’t move at the right speed and the finish was dull. In order to see if we could replace the blades, we tried to remove the bolts but the flimsy wrench that came with the unit is slipping so the bolts can't come off. This planer never worked as it should from the get-go, and it was very clearly never even properly assembled at the factory. We contacted Vevor and because more than 30 days had elapsed since the purchase they told us there was nothing at all they would do. Even worse, they said they don’t even supply replacements parts for it. They offered the 'solution' for us to buy a new Vevor planer, same model. How is that a solution ???? So we would be stuck with 2 worthless planers? Definitely a terrible product and a terrible company behind it. Save your money and look elsewhere

I purchased this planer to use with 12 inch cypress boards 8 ft long that are slightly over one inch thick. The goal is to plane down to one inch. Taking light passes one half turn for each pass the first six pads went through fine. Since then the following boards have been continually getting stuck and I wind up having to pull on the boards to keep them moving. Every time it stops moving the cutter leaves a hot spot (dark line) across the board. Not good as these boards are going on my porch at my main entrance. I have looked at a few videos that say wax the plate with car wax. If that works I will update this review. In the photo you can see the lines on the closest four boards.

This is my first planer. I never had nor used one before now. I read some reviews that complained about the dust collection effectiveness and went ahead to hook up my shop vac to the planer port. So far I am amazed at the amount of wood dust and chips my vac collects! I have a Ridgid Vac that is probably at least 5 or 6 years old. The meager amount of wood that escapes the vac is almost nil. And most importantly, this planer is the bomb. It makes mince meat out of anything I put through it. I turned some older boards sitting in my garage from disasters to something even my wife was impressed with. I recommend this planer to any home hobbyist who will use it for light to moderate work. It doesn't have many miles on it yet but it will have soon. And for the money I think it would be hard to beat.

What a great tool. Works really well, just got to remember that one full turn equals 1.5 mm so only half a turn at a time. Really, really pleased with this purchase. Arrived in good time and was really well packed. Minimum adjustment to set up to give a perfect cut. Now comes with a little tool storage area at the top and the clippings are directed to one side. Wish it could be bought with the stand as I had to search around to find that. Why can the single speed planer be bought with one but not the two speed?? Small annoyance though. All told a good buy. 5 stars.

Mein alter Hobel ging kaputt. Es waren die Plastik Kegelräder auf der Synchronisationswelle , die sich aufgeweitet hatten, habe ihn mehrmals versucht mit Epoxy 2K zu reparieren aber ohne dauerhaften Erfolg . Dieses Gerät hat hingegen Metallkegelräder, habe gleich nachgeschaut. Geliefert und gleich ausgepackt. Bin begeistert. Absolut super Oberfläche der Bretter. Kaum ein Hobelschlag sichtbar. Die Bretter sind durchgeflutscht wie nix. Die hohe Drehzahl macht es (vergleichen Sie). Hätte noch gerne 100 Bretter mehr durchgeschoben, so hat es Spaß gemacht. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. 17 Sterne. Ist im Übrigen mein zweites Vevor Gerät. Auch vom ersten war ich angetan.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto. Nunca había probado este tipo de máquinas. Busque información y esta máquina tenía muy buenas valoraciones. Con lo poco que me ha dado tiempo a probarla, estoy contentísimo. Creo que ha sido una muy buena compra.
