Rick Steves delivers again!
Love this book! This was a lifesaver for planning my trip. The maps, suggested itineraries, secret spots, tips, and more make planning a breeze. I love the size - it allowed me to throw it in my bag to reference while out and about. Rick Steves delivers every time!

Small and Consice
We are going to Europe soon for the first time. I have watched Rick Steves shows on Youtube and PBS and thought he knows what he is talking about. Here are my Thought's 1. The book is small and easily fits in your pocket. 2. It tells you places to see in the country specific book. 3. Tells you methods of travel to get there 4. Mentions Places to eat 5. Includes a map of the area 6. How to pay for things ETC I could go on and on. It has so much great information. For me the book is great and after reading it prior to our trip, I feel I am prepared for my visit. If you decide to buy Rick Steves pocket travel books, you won't be disappointed

Insert map is wonderful
I have bought several of these for friends who are travelling to Paris. Like the pocket size map and short descriptions of key areas. I find phone navigation very tricky in Paris cuz the streets are rarely at right angles..fun for wandering though!

Print very small, although provides good information
I will preface with this thought- I wish the print was larger. I have new glasses as of 2 weeks ago. Even with that, I can barely discern much of the smaller print. It was my mistake in assuming even with this book being smaller, I could still read it. It will go back and Iโll stick with my full sized one.

With Rick Steves you can't go wrong
This pocket handbook saved our Paris trip. We got to Paris and our hotel had a broken elevator. We were on the fifth floor so we pulled out this pocket Rick Steves handbook and found a recommended hotel. There was a room available and we were able to enjoy our time in Paris. The hotel and concierge were amazing.

A very helpful guide
This book is a good size and easy to take with you when traveling and has a ton of great information in it. Even though Iโve been to Paris before this book was still very helpful and I used it quite a bit.

All You Need
The first (and only) time I went to Paris, Rick Steves' book was the thing I kept close. Compared to other travel books, this little volume was indispensible! It includes good maps and detailed descriptions of all the sights. Andfits in your pocket or bag perfectly, so you WILL take it everywhere!

Convenient and practical
This book fits easily into a trouser pocket and so is a nice companion for those who (like me) prefer their city guides to be in old-fashioned paper form. The coverage is not as wide-ranging as, say, the DK Top 10 guide, preferring to focus on a few key experiences rather than trying to do too much in the space available. These (Louvre, Notre Dame, Orsay, and a selection of suggested city walks) are presented in a very practical and down to earth way. The book was very handy for my February 2025 visit to the City of Light. I still think that MIchael Middleditch's Paris Mapguide is by far the best pocket guide to the city (the maps are amazing) but unfortunately the 8th edition was the last, as the author died in December 2012. This Rick Steves book is cordially recommended.
