Claudia, Wife of Pontius Pilate: A Novel

This book is well written. Engaging.The life of Pontius Pilate is partly known. This fiction can be read whether or not you have an interest in the crucifixion of Christ and the start of the church.It resonated many time with my way of thinking.We get to know Claudia quite well and the author acknowledges that this is mostly fiction but based on a paragraph of her dreams when Jesus was before her husband, Pilate. [known as Lucius in this book]We see how Claudia changes over time as she has an eventful life in so many ways.... I would have like to have met this Claudia and I would have wanted to help too.Peter

I really enjoyed this book and the angle at which the story was told by someone barely mentioned in the bible, and the fiction which was woven into it and produced a person who also had a tale to tell. Can't wait to read the next one to see who it is.

Excellent book well worth reading. Brings the scriptures alive and makes you see life in the times of Jesus from a very different perspective.

A lovely novel putting meant onto the bones of a Bible charcacter, giving the reader much insight to an woman whohad great influence over her husband. A must read, for all followers of the Christian faith.
