Upon arrival opening the box the case is a very sturdy and organized keeping everything in its own spot, even with it being tossed around. I love that this light comes with the wired remote switch to allow simple on/off function while viewing down my sights. I would recommend getting 3m tape for the back of the velcro to attach to your rifle for it lost its hold fairly quickly but thats a very minor inconvenience. It came with 2 18650 batteries and the charger, which is an awesome deal, almost dont need 2 for the batteries hold life for a long time i left the light running for over an hour and it was still very bright and it didn't get very hot which is a definite plus I always find that lights using high output batteries tend to get on the hot side. I still havent found out how long they actually last but a high output running over an hour and not dying is amazing. I'm a major fan of the modular led system it keeps it simple and easily repairable if that were ever need to be done. This light is definitly going to be getting used alot come January it makes seeing in the night a breeze i can't wait to see it light up my grounds once there is snow on the ground. I use this light on 5.56, 300 blackout and my 308 no problems so far. For rapid shooting it holds up. For a bolt action so far so good. I primarily use it hog hunts will say that if you are using a high power scope the light and scope will need to be adjusted for distance. Thanks** A: Red is good for any animal, but you lose definition and distance - but it gives the best eye shine. Green is good for hogs, you get better definition, brighter light, more distance still eye shines - but it casts shadows, and isn't quite as good for predators. Red is also easier on your night vision, green is ok but your eyes will still adjust some. White is ... well, we all know what white is and does... It's not too large or bulky and has a decent battery life. Given that it comes with 2 batteries it gives you that much additional usage. The only downside I see is the momentary switch that comes with the additional end cap.
