This is a good size for a residential sign; it's not so big that it's shouting at you but big enough not to be missed. It's worth it to pay a little more to get a metal sign over a plastic sign for durability. I mounted this on a green, heavy duty sign post that is about 6' tall when pounded in the ground. I drilled two new holes in the top/bottom middle of the sign to center mount it since the four holes are on the corners. You could just use two holes on one side to mount but I prefer the look of it mounted in the center of the post.The camera icon is kind of dorky/outdated looking but it gets the point across. The blue is fine but I wish it came in green.

You get exactly what you see in the picture. A metal sign that has been printed on. It has 4 holes pre-drilled which makes installation easy enough. I would guess these will last for a while.The only thing that is highly annoying to me is the little ad on the bottom of the sign. I missed it when I bought it cause it is very small on the picture, but when you buy a sign and have that little business plug on the bottom it is kinda lame. I used to do signs myself and I never did that then because I feel it is tacky. Now, if you are happy with a little plug on the bottom, that is fine. I won't kill the product due to that, but I will ding it a touch. I just think it is taking away from the point you are trying to convey to bad people by throwing out that they too can have one of these by going to the company website;)

The key thing about this sign is that it is metal. Most of the signs you can buy on Amazon and elsewhere are plastic and are in no way convincing enough for potential intruders to consider the sign real. The reason this is important is that I use this with the same companies faux cameras so the overall package is far more convincing.I wish they sold a post for this product. Most alarm companies have a nice sign and a posting method that allows you to put a warning sign along you driveway or some other visible space to more or less advertise what you have.The only odd thing is that the product has a re-order number on the front. Kind of makes it phony like.

I live in the mountains,and it seems like some people have nothing better to do then drive around and try to break into your place and steal your stuff.I bought two of these signs,along with 2 dummy security cameras,and for the most part,Problem solved.I have a driveway about two hundred yards long,and several times since i put the signs up.cars have turned around or backed out of my driveway as soon as they saw them.For the most part Problem solved.A good dog and a couple of pistol style shotguns also help,but because of the signs,i havent needed to resort to any force.I think its great,seeing cars just back right out of the driveway when they see the signs,I cant figure out why the signs cost more then the cameras,but the total cost was small,and ive seen a real difference.

Not too big but is definitely noticeable. Perfect size, great price. They seem durable, I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’ve ordered several of these exact signs over the last few years. They were a fantastic value! Very professional and well made. They were awesome! Not this one I just received though.Instead of printing like the previous ones it looks like a cheap vinyl decal. It’s already worn/faded in some spots like the printer was out of ink. The icon of the camera is different too along with some of the verbiage at the bottom. Either it’s a counterfeit knock off or quality has significantly declined. Either way. I won’t be ordering again and would recommend you look elsewhere for a quality sign.

My review headline said it all... it's a good sign, it seems to be good quality (just arrived) and it has holes punched in the corners for easy hanging. I plan to use this outdoors and will update this review if it fades, cracks or otherwise does not perform. So far so good!UPDATE 5/31/2013: Six months later out in the weather and this sign still looks great... no fading or cracking!

These are nice quality. They are a metal sign of adequate size. I found some with red and white as opposed to blue and white and the red and white show up a lot better.

Sign is of good quality, made of metal and has a nice coating of lacquer on it for protection. Bought this because our vehicles were being vandalized. I would recommend this as a deterrent.

hard to tell if it works or not. I have not had the door to my camp kicked in so far, so I am going to say yes.

Was a slight problem with original order ,but was remedied promptly .would not hesitate to order again.
