The Wonderful Power Of Kindness…Multiplied…
The Wonderful Power Of Kindness…Multiplied…..’A little kindness goes a very long way – in this case, all the way from Ecuador to Sweden, about 10,000 km’…Undoubtedly true, but as all these stories show, the geographical distance isn’t the only measure of the journey travelled. All these very worthy tales (& tails !) tell of the bond between humans & dogs. Bonds often forged in adversity, where qualities such as compassion, determination, tenacity, & perseverance are well to the fore, & by no means all from the human side of the relationship.Of course, it is marvellous to be able to catch up with Arthur’s adventures as a part of the Lindnord family – although Helena & Mikael already do that extremely well through social media - & I rather doubt whether there is a happier dog anywhere. It is remarkable how Arthur’s story has carried around the world, & how the interest in it continues. That one small initial act has had such an impact is truly wonderful. The creation of The Arthur Foundation, the Arthur & Friends Charity Runs, & the publication of this book show a most praiseworthy & honourable commitment by Helena & Mikael to the cause of all the other Arthurs deserving of a better life.Anyone who cares about dogs will love this book.Like it’s predecessor, a book which is very difficult to put down. These stories all carry their own message, but perhaps the one which is common to them all is that there must always be a place for the maxim ..‘Don’t shop, adopt !’....’It all started with a meatball’...

especially those who love the idea of a rescue dog
A must-read for dog lovers, especially those who love the idea of a rescue dog. It is a sequel to the original 'Arthur' book - if you haven't read that book I highly recommend it.This book tells the continuing story of Arthur and the loving family who adopted him. Fun, humour and love shine through the various parts of the story. These are interspersed with first-hand accounts by people, who have adopted rescue dogs, either in their own country or from abroad.A truly heartwarming and inspirational book, underlining the unconditional love which all dogs give.

Arthur and Arthur & Friends
I would highly recommend both of these books. Read 'Arthur' first to get the whole story. I think Mikael Lindnord is a remarkable man with a heart of gold and Arthur an almost human like dog. It was almost like they were supposed to be together. The books made me cry at times with sadness but eventually all was resolved and Arthur is now having a proper life in Sweden with his family. I live in England but do see pictures of Arthur and family on facebook. People who are kind to animals are real people as there is so much cruelty going on in the world for many poor animals. My heart goes out to Mikael and I hope he and Arthur will have many happy years together.

Amazing Arthur
From the first chapter of the original Arthur, to the very last page of Arthur and friends, this story has been one of the most moving and amazing adventures I have read. The fast paced writing kept me enthralled, made me shed many tears, and brought laughter with every chapter. Thank you Arthur, you are a very special friend and I love you very much.

Only a small amount about Arthur
I had not realised when I purchased this book as a Kindle read that the majority of the book would be dog rescue stories. Although they were wonderful and inspirational, I have a rescue dog myself and wanted to hear more about Arthur and not other peoples experiences. That said, the bits about Arthur were wonderful and I am so glad that he has found his forever home.
