(I'm trying to get an idea of how much it will hold for children of different ages.)** A: Hi Richard,This plate measures 11 7/8" long x 8 3/8" wide and each of the spaces on the game board are a well for food. Each well is 1/2" deep. I hope this answers your question. **Q: Does the dessert cover fit over the start area too?** A: No, not perfectly but it does somewhat cover the opening. There are ridges on the end spot to hold the top and not on the start spot, so the top is slightly slanted if placed on top of the hole. **Q: Does the treat cover snap in place to keep kids from eating it first?** A: No, the lid just sits on top of the treat spot. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Complete Game Changer For Fussy 4 Yr Old! *by J***D on 19 November 2017* Wow! I came across this plate when searching online for ideas to get my four year old daughter to eat! She has a tiny appetite and will never eat more that a couple of mouthfuls at each meal. The plate arrived this morning and appears to be of very high quality - beautiful illustrations that my daughter loved! She wanted to use it for her snack immediately and I was gobsmacked when she ate everything I put on there! For dinner, exactly the same happened! I honestly don't think she has ever cleared her plate in 4.5 years!! Cue a very happy mummy!!My biggest concern with this plate was that the compartments looked very small and that the total portion size might be inadequate. Having used the plate, I can happily confirm that the compartments are small but that, once filled, they do add up to a perfectly fit portion size for a toddler/young child! The treat compartment is also fit for a couple of squares of chocolate or some sliced fruit - perfect for a sweet after dinner treat that won't overload the little ones with sugar!I have already come back to order the superhero version so that I can have one in the dishwasher (yes, it's even dishwasher safe!!). Overall, one of my favourite purchases of 2017! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved it *by N*** on 25 January 2019* Fantastic plate, well thought out to encourage picky eaters and very solid made although does make it fairly weighted for a child's plate so I can see why it's slightly more expensive but overall worth it for our fussy eater ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just buy it. *by T***Z on 21 October 2018* I've been struggling to get my 4yr old and 6yr old to eat as much as I'd like and also in a reasonable amount of time. Used these today and they both just ate all of their dinner with no complaints or "cheating". I can't believe I didn't find these sooner. They are really great quality. Vibrant colours, heavy and well made.UPDATE: we've had a month of eating all of their dinner with no complaints 😶 it's like witchcraft. It helps to vary the surprises and also if you have a treats box like we do then they both have different surprises... we did find when they both had the same treat one would finish and the other lose interest. Now I put about 7-8 skittles on one and 5-6 sizzles love hearts in the other and swap them around every day ## Frequently Bought Together - Genuine Fred Dinner Winner, Enchanted Forest Kid's Dinner Tray - Award Winning - Picky Eater Solutions for Kids and Toddlers - Fun Mealtime - Divided Sections - Interactive Design - Dishwasher Safe - SpinMeal - Healthy Nutrition Plate for Picky Eaters - Spin the Arrow - Meals are Fun Again --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/50884125-fred-dinner-winner-kids-dinner-tray-enchanted-forest](https://www.desertcart.be/products/50884125-fred-dinner-winner-kids-dinner-tray-enchanted-forest) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
