I found this to be more than satisfactory it fit well on my 2006 ford ranger and went in very easily. I broke the original handle, bought a replacement from a dealer for $30 - broke that one and hoping that this will hold up much better!In terms of build quality it seems to be well made, certainly on par with the last one that I bought probably even a bit stronger although definitely a much better value.

I was a little nervous at first to order this because I didn't know how well it was going to withstand being opened and shut all the time but after a couple weeks of having it I can say I'm very very satisfied with my order. All the reviews were good and it's an afordable price. I went to autozone to see how much they were and is was $50. I'm like hell no!! Then I came across this and I'm like take. It came so fast and installed so easy. Highly recommend.

Fit 2004 Ford Ranger exactly. Part was perfect, installation easy. Turns out of the door seems to be seizing, push in a little on the door and it will likely open fine. My door was seemingly stuck on the left. Lubrication also probably helps.Shipping time was super fast.

this tailgate handle works really good. it was easy to install and fit perfectly. at a great price too!

This is as heavy duty as the first replacement (from Ford dealer)handle which lasted 4 years. (Original lasted 4 years) and was less than half the price. A GOOD ENOUGH DEAL.

Looks and feels OEM. My tailgate was getting harder and harder to open, and one day it broke. I looked at LMC and they were 18 bucks plus shipping. Debating on plastic or metal I decided the original plastic one lasted for 7 years, and it was not all the handle's fault. It was super easy to install, pull the 8 torque screws out of the tailgate, and remove the plastic bed liner cover and metal cover, then two more nuts and then reverse the whole process to get it all back together. Figuring the failure was because it was getting harder to open, I greased all the inner workings and cleaned up any rust that might have been hindering it. The tailgate opens and closes like the day I bought it, and maybe even better.

This handle worked perfectly on my 2007 Ranger, and was VERY easy to install. I wish I'd have bought it long ago instead of living with having to use a screw driver every time I needed to open the tail gate :-p

One of the "fingers" that push the tabs pulling in the tail gate locks slipped of the tab. I found the "fingers were a little too far apart. I simply used a pair of pliers to slightly "bend" the fingers inward. The handle works perfectly now and I would recommend it. Just be aware you may need to make a slight adjustment on the fingers. Caution: use only slight pressure when bending the fingers, you don't want to take a chance of breaking anything.
