Schedule 40 PVC Elbow Insert Adapters 3/4" MPT x 3/4" Hose Barb

I bought three of these to go into the bulkheads in my new 40B tank. I bought Schedule 80 bulkheads because I wanted the extra strength and peace of mind. These elbows appear to be as strong and well-built as Sch. 80. In fact, I was hand-tightening an elbow into one of the bulkheads, and the bulkhead split open from end to end. I suppose the Teflon tape made screwing it in so smooth that I didn't notice the elbow had contacted the shoulder stop inside the bulkhead. An extra twist to get it tight, and the bulkhead was destroyed. The elbow is fine, and will be used in the replacement bulkhead.
