Jar of Flies

AIC's last great album. The boys are at their peak here, including Dave Jerden behind the desk. A deserved no.1 for one of the most talented bands of the 90's. Enjoy

The 5 star rating is for the album which is superb and is essential for any AIC fan,however I received a different copy to the one advertised,and the copy that is shown in the picture.I was under the impression that I was purchasing the coloured vinyl version,as this is the one advertised(yellow sticker,clearly states coloured vinyl),so was disappointed to receive the black vinyl version instead.Seller needs to update their info as this is quite misleading.

This is in my top ten albums of all time along with its predecessor Dirt. Two different sounding albums but both demonstrated what a truly impressive band Alice in Chains were. Powerful songs, magnificent vocals from both Staley and Cantrell, (THE 90s Seattle scene guitar god) and the best bass playing you could ever hope to hear. I'll never tire of this album.

Probably my favourite AIC release, and in my top 5 all time favourite releases.This is a must for vinyl lovers, the cover is super glossy, with an awesome gatefold to peruse through. There's also inner sleeves for each ep, and an etched AIC sun logo on the reverse of the Sap ep.I'm chuffed to bits with my purchase, gets 5 star on all levels.

This double album is a must for AIC fans, the songwriting is classic AIC and demostrates music written and performed with true heart and soul,something which seems nonexistent in todays manufactured fake music culture.There are many great tracks here,my favorite being Rotten Apples and Brother, Alice in Chains managed to communicate genuine melancholy through their music,anybody who is a fan should own this.

Absolutley stunning edition with the engraving on the fourth side. Very well split so Jar of Fllies fits on two sides, and Sap on side C. The sound is top quality to my ears. Brilliant collection of songs. Possibly their finest work.

Love this band used to have these albums on my iPod but, my old one broke and was upset as I borrowed the album at the time. Saw it at a bargain price and thought what the hell and am one very happy customer. Will use this seller again.

Still one of the most underrated rock bands of the 90's &. beyond . Stripped down tunes but just as powerful as their classic albums . Featuring the vocals of the much missed Layne Staley .
