45cm Light Green Artificial Cedar Tree

I wouldn't go along with other reviewers that state that these artificial cedar saplings are so real looking and the gardener couldn't tell the difference etc. The tell-tale sign is always when all the leaves are of too much of an identical hue and shade (which doesn't happen in nature), like with those people that dye their hair amateurishly and then look odd because every hair is exactly the same uniform, unnatural, block of colour. I got 4 of these things to spruce up a north facing porch where everything dies, even the hardiest of shrubs that have evolved specifically to thrive in the shade. I'll give it a go with these but they'll not fool many people and as soon as anybody takes the mickey, smirks, or looks sadly sympathetic towards me as if I've gone off my rocker, they're out. The foliage section is 35 cm high with a 10 cm stem to bury them into the hole of something like a wooden block in a pot for weight. At least, if they are in permanent shade the plastic won't bleach in direct sunlight as I suspect it otherwise might.Eamonn

A bit overpriced looked a bit cheap ok for a plant pot worth £4 each not what they are asking but that's my opinion some people have been happy with the product.

This small tree adds a realistic splash of greenery indoors or out. You need to find the right pot to complement it and weight it down with compost/soil to add to its realism. Would definitely recommend.

Being in a elevated position, it is difficult to keep our (real) conifers which suffer from windburn and were destroyed by the atrocious weather last winter. I was more than pleased when I received the cedars which did not look artificial at all. They now occupy pride of place on my balcony and have been admired on more than once occasion.

Very easy to use. Just stick them in the pot or ground and you're done. I never thought gardening could be this easy! They lost a star becauce they are a brighter green than I had envisaged but they do the job and fool the neighbours.

I know it says 45cm and they probably are from bottom to tip but they look small

As described, but was a little disappointed because not as bushy as I thought they would be.

Very pleased with the quality of the tree - it looks very realistic. However, it was shorter than I expected. The height measurement was from bottom of trunk to top of tree and I thought it would be the height of the actual tree.
