S.T. Dupont Slim 7 Lighter - Chrome

This lighter arrived the next day after ordering just before Xmas. It came from Belgium too! I had ordered the gold coloured model but the shop phoned to tell me that they had just sold out but could offer the rose coloured version instead that was apparently more popular. I had originally wanted the rose coloured one so didn't mind. I think both are nice! Perhaps I should get that one too! The lighter itself is very well made and very elegant. It is actually quite small and ideal for slipping into a small pocket, either a suit ticket pocket or trouser or shirt pocket, without being noticeable. I am sure it would equally fit into a handbag or small purse. It comes with a small velvet pouch so it is protected. I had researched this lighter on YouTube (https://youtu.be/U0NzYwdgyPw) where it got a rave review. I know it is expensive compared to many other lighters on Amazon (some of which I also have). It does what it is supposed to but does it elegantly. From what I have read the product ought to last as well. No doubt some might say you can buy a lot of cheap lighters over many years for the same amount. That is true. But when you pull out this lighter it not only looks beautiful, it works so smoothly and feels so nice in the hand, that if you can afford it then it is a luxury item worth investing in.

Purchased for my husband's Birthday - he is an occasional cigar smoker - fits neatly into his cigar case - excellent slim line design for portable use, great "special" gift

Bought this as a present. Also found a leather pouch for it to be used in to avoid scratches. Works well with butane gas. Flame very strong and adjustable. Looks expensive and is quality.

Igniter mechanism not working , bought this 2 months ago. Is this product under guarantee? I didn't get any guarantee card in the box.

Classic well made lighter.Always been a fan Dupont and this model doesn’t disappoint. I would recommend buying the Dupont leather case to protect the finish of the lighter long term….I found the matching case online for £21 ,it’s well made, has the Dupont logo, magnetic clasp and fits perfectly

Beautifully elegant Very easy to use Very small indeed it could fit literally everywhere The flame adjustment is Amazing It works perfectly You won’t Find another st DuPont lighter for this price

I’m highly delighted. Slim and stylish and hold more gas than I thought it would.
