Very capable and upgradable gaming desktop!
This is my first personal desktop computer. I’ve had gaming laptops in the past, and when my most recent one kept failing on me, I decided to ditch it and pick up a desktop. With computer parts skyrocketing in 2017, I figured it’d be too expensive to build my own, so a prebuilt was the way to go. And I’m not that far off; with the recent Bitcoin explosion, graphics cards have been hard to get retail price at and RAM is just ridiculous. All in all, this build is reasonably priced and to be honest, if I sold the parts in it I could probably turn a profit. But that’s not what I’m going to do.I’m going to split my review up into categories beginning with the GPU:First, let me say that the listing here says it comes with a GTX 1070. I indeed got a GTX 1070, and specifically a MSI GTX 1070. There is no backplate. Below the graphics card is another PCIe slot that you can put another graphics card in if you’d like.POWER SUPPLY:I haven’t gotten a good look at the power supply. I do know that’s a bronze supply, however. In the future I’ll take a closer look and report back.CPU:Comes with the Intel i7-6700K. That means it can be overclocked. However, the 6700K is about to reach its end-of-life from Intel. This system has been tested with the 7700K, so if you want you could upgrade to that.CASE:The case is actually really, really cool. It’s not over-the-top gamer, and it features a mostly tool-less design. What I mean by this is that it can be serviced by only your hands. There is a dust filter in the front of the case and one under the PSU (power supply). To access the front cover, you first need to take off the side panel. There’s a switch that can be toggled between locked and unlocked. Once unlocked, there’s a button on the top of the case that can be pressed and the side panel pops off. Then, near the front of the case but still inside, you will see plastic hinges that can be popped out to access the front cover. Mine only came with one fan in the front, but you can add another as there is space for one.To add something, like a new GPU or sound card, it can be done without tools as well. On the backside of the case, there are two plastic holders that keep the cage locked in place. Remove those. Then, there are two latches that need to be pulled and the cage unlocks. You can then take the one you don’t need out and place a sound card in or a graphics card. This took me a while to figure out and I had to resort to their showcase video of all places.RAM:Mine came with 16 GB of SK Hynix 2400 MHz RAM. I can’t even find any on Amazon so adding more would likely require me to purchase a new kit of 4 x 8 GB, and since RAM is so expensive right now I’ll have to wait.STORAGE:Comes with a 128 GB NVMe SSD and a 1 TB HDD. I tried sticking in a 512 GB B + M keyed M.2 SSD, but it was not recognized. I believe from digging on some forums that this can only accept M keyed SSDs. If I choose to upgrade this, I’ll be sure to get an NVMe as they are generally faster. There is also room to add a few more HDDs if you’d like.PERFORMANCE:Overall, this is a solid performer. The 1070 is a very capable card, but I would love to see the 1080 version of this Y900 come back in stock. And if they do that, they should also upgrade to the 7700K. Either way, I can play Shadow of War at Ultra settings and get over 90 FPS. GTA V also runs very well on Ultra settings. The best part is that this runs very quiet even under load, and the temps stay quite low for only air cooling.BLOATWARE:Comes with minimal bloatware; mostly Lenovo stuff. There’s a program called Lenovo Nerve Center which lets you click a button to overclock the CPU. You can also control the case lighting (either on/off or dimmer/brighter) and do a couple other things. Not the best program… it’s pretty buggy and takes a while to load up. Sometimes it disconnects with a connection error even though I’m always connected to the internet.SUMMARY:A very capable computer with easy serviceability and upgradability. With computer components being quite expensive lately, buying a prebuilt is actually a good deal. I recommend this computer, and I would definitely buy it again. If I missed anything leave me a comment and I’ll try to respond to you!

I like it.
I did get a 1070 with my purchase. I ordered from tech. deals Most of the parts have an unknown brand however. The gtx 1070 i got registers as msi but it's only found in these model y900. It is a blacked out single blower and runs about 80c in a full load. The cooler i got is unknown brand but looks like a smaller 212 evo. Keeps it pretty cool actually. My only real complaint is 128gb ssd is not enough storage even with the 1tb hdd. Look into replacing and getting a bigger ssdRuns games great on ultra settings 144hz 1080p Overclocks, Streams, runs any emulator. It does it all and i am very happy with my purchase. And considering gpu prices and free 2 day shippjng this is not a bad deal

Lenovo makes a budget gaming computer with more than decent performance.
I have had my computer for about a month now. I would say that for the money this is a very capable computer. the gtx 1070 runs dark and light on the highest video settings without a problem.

This model does contain a GTX1070. I see the model number written on the graphic card. I also see the model number on NVIDIA control panel. If you still think Lenovo is faking a GTX1070 in this way. Then, any company can do this. Also, this model contains a basic keyboard and a basic mouse.
