Oakberry Range Colorope Slip Lead, 72-inch, Olive

As a rule I don't approve of slip leads however my little boy it extremely boisterous, the most excitable dog I've ever had he has no off button...lol, I gave in and purchased this slip lead, it's light in weight, strong durable material, comfortable to hold and does what's expected. Now I have more control n his lead work is much betta n improving all the time a good buy n very soon I'll be able to chang to a regular lead.

Great lead, really helped stop pulling and some attention problems with my sheep dog (when used correctly) main thing was pulling and better control for when my girlfriend took her for walks. Very good quality, its thick (makes for comfort and durability) but not hard. Nice handle great item for the purpose would also make a great standard lead, good length I always have it across both hands for better control and allowing slack untill we get off the streets.I have had it a few months now and there has been some minor fraying or discolouration from the metal ring rubbing on the lead (from the initial strain when dog was still pulling like mad) but shes not pulling so safe to say its not a problem. Just a mention for anyone with a big dog. With care should last years.

I ordered this slip lead yesterday, and it arrived today, the lead is ok... suits my needs, however, the brown plastic clasp at the loop end was broken, smashed and fell off.... as I am going away on holiday today and the lead was for my friend to use on my dogs she is looking after while I am away... I do not have the time to return it for a replacement.... otherwise I would have.

Good lead but I don't really like the bulky plastic pieces, they get in the way when using, I prefer my other one which has leather fastening instead

Seems fairly well made and so far has survived one strong dog. Lead is not very grippy as would like so tend to loop around hand to keep hold of it properly.

Very disappointed with this - one of the little plastic covers has broken and fallen off on the second walk - it's not vital to the function of the product but aesthetically it was nice. I also note that the loop is just melted at the end to form a loop with no stitching and now I worry all the time that it will break. For the money I am afraid that I don't think it is good enough and cannot recommend it.

In our experience these leads weren't up to the job for our pooches. We have 6 month old GSD and Syberian Husky puppies. The GSD is large but the Husky slight. The first problem was that the metal slip ring opened on both leads leaving both puppies off lead. Today the plastic housing that covers the hand loop on the lead exploded leaving the hand loop exposed but the stitching underneath ensured that the loop held.
