My fingers appreciate this little tool.
This tool is great making it easier to pull the stitching punches out of the leather.Keep your punches polished and one of these tools and you and your fingers will be happier. The ring thimble works great with a little practice. The measurement markings are difficult to see but not terrible in good lighting.

Great little product
Nothing to dislike, replacing the plastic or acrylic. One I used before, throwing in an extra pair of small scissors, was a nice gesture, having too many thread scissors will never be an issue. As per the product, it just makes removing the pricking irons, a bit easier and cleaner, one of those gadgets you could do without, but for the price why not

Good value
Seems very durable so far good value for the price because I don't use it all the time I just wanted to have one just in case so it's good

Great gadget
I must say I was skeptical on purchasing. It’s a tool you don’t realize you need until you have used it. Makes removing your stitching chisel so easy!! You can also use it to round corners with your exacto/razor knife…

Great tool, greater value
Should have had this tool a long time ago. Holds leather down flat while pulling out the stitching chisel. Really enhances the look of the finished product, gives a better quality appearance.

Not Strictly Necessary, But Handy
Short story ... When punching stitch holes in some weights and types of leather, the punch will resist pulling out, lifting the leather in the process. You can hold it down with your hand. You can weight the leather. You can rock the punch back and forth. You can use any number of tools to hold the leather down when pulling the punch out - even a fork will work.A problem with most solutions is having to put down your mallet to free the punch. Sometimes you can just rest the mallet on the leather without letting go and pull the punch out, but that doesn't always work either. What this little tool brings to the table is that it is flat and the slot is long enough to surround the teeth of the punch, so a bit of pressure on the tool holds the leather down nicely, which if you're agile enough, you can manage with the hand holding the punch itself.Necessary? Nope. But handy on occasion if you have a particularly intractable piece of leather. Mostly it's just not that much of a problem. A quick rock, sometimes with a bit of an extra tap, usually does fine.
