**Q: How does the adjustable plate fir different screw distances help when there are only 2 pre drilled holes?**
A: you have 2 plates the back plate has slots top and bottom to allow you to position the pre drilled holes in the slots.  you then screw the back plate to the door.  then the face plate has 2 holes which secure to the back plate.  you therefore MUST make sure you get the handle the right way round in terms of the the face plate MUST BE INSIDE THE HOUSE if you dont then anyone could come along and remove the handle with a screw driver.

**Q: Hi, anyone tell me how far this projects out from the door looking sideways as I need it to fit behind shutters.  Thanks**
A: Handle projects 70mm from door surface.

**Q: Will this support a distance of 55mm from bottom screw to centre of key and 65mm from top screw to centre of handle. Spindle and key are 92mm apart**
A: i doubt it. From the bottom key to next up bottom screw 20mm, then to spindle another 72mm (total key to spindle 92mm) then spindle to top screw 60mm. All measurements +- 2mm, but i think probably spot on. Have fun, i seem to remember drilling another hole in the door a few years ago.

**Q: What range of bolt fixing centres (i.e. minimum and maximum centres) can this unit accommodate?**
A: It can be adjusted to any fitting as long as the centre of key to your door handle centre is what is required ie 60 mm??

My old door handle and letterbox were looking a little tired so I decided to replace them both in an effort to improve on appearance. I did a fair bit of looking around before choosing this handle from Yale, partly because it had already got plenty of positive reviews from other users. I also found an excellent installation video online which does and excellent job of demonstrating how easy the handles are to install (just search for 'How to fit a Yale PVCu replacement door handle') and so I felt comfortable in my choice. Fitting the handles didn't take long and the task did prove to be straightforward, with the result being a much improved look for my front door. I replaced the letterbox at the same time and chose this product which complements it perfectly Mila 110921 40 - 80mm ProStyle Letterbox - Chrome . Together they have transformed the look of my door and I am very pleased with their appearance and quality.
